Coming this Summer to a theater near you: Shark Night 3D. Filmed at various locations around the ArkLaTex in the Fall of 2010, the horror/thriller follows seven vacationers as their weekend at a lake house in the Louisiana Gulf turns into a nightmare of fresh-water shark attacks.
With an estimated $28 million budget, Shark Night 3D features Sara Paxton (Superhero Movie, 2008; The Last House on the Left, 2009), Dustin Milligan (90210), Chris Carmack (The OC) and American Idol (2002) crooner-turned-actress Katharine McPhee.
Some of the movie was shot on Caddo Lake in Uncertain, TX.
Directed by David Ellis, who brought us Snakes on a Plane, Shark Night 3D has been rated PG 13 by the Motion Picture Association of America. It opens nationwide September 2, 2011.
