Shreveport, LA(KSLA) – Bossier City Police are investigating a motorcycle crash that left 58-year old Tony Norris Snider seriously injured.

The accident happened around 9 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Barksdale Blvd. and Robert E. Lee Blvd. That is by the Southgate neighborhood.

Police say a Chevrolet Impala driven by 18-year old Daryl Lamar Hawkins of Bossier City was headed southbound on Barksdale Blvd. when it turned left onto Robert E. Lee into the path of the motorcycle driven by Snider. Hawkins was cited for failure to yield.

Snider was transported to LSU Hospital with a severe head injury. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

So far, police have determined alcohol was not a factor in the accident. The crash remains under investigation.
