In District 1-4A, the Benton Tigers are coming off a 10 and 2 season and were undefeated in District play before falling to McDonough in the playoffs last season.

The Parkway Panthers football team lost 35 seniors last year, one of those seniors was LSU quarterback Brandon Harris. Keondre Wudtee will take over the quarterback position and lead the panthers offense in 2014.

In 2013 the North Desoto Griffins moved from district 1-3A to 1-4A. The Evangel Eagles had 4 players who will be playing Division I football in college this season. The eagles will be relying on some younger players to step up and be leaders for the team.

2-A-Days: Woodlawn

The Knights had success last year in District 1-4A and although their top corner Donovan Wilson is off to Texas A&M, the Knights still feel confident that they can make a run at a district title.

2-A-Days: Southwood

The Southwood Cowboys play in a tough 5A district and will be relying on senior leadership from skill players to help turn this program around in 2014.
