Kori is no longer an employee of KSLA as of April 2023.
Kori joined the News 12 team in July of 2021 after working in New Bern, NC as a weekend anchor/reporter for two years. During that time, she covered stories like shark attack survivor, Paige Winter, the 2020 Presidential Election, and the aftermath of Hurricane Isaias.
The Illinois native graduated from Duquesne University (GO DUKES!) in Pittsburgh. There, she earned two bachelor degrees and played Division 1 volleyball.
Kori is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Kori is excited to call Shreveport her new home and to tell stories that matter to the community. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, painting, and exploring new restaurants. If you see her around town, feel free to say hello (she might even have a new “dad joke” to tell you).
