Man wanted in 1-year-old’s shooting death arrested

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department has arrested a man who was wanted in connection with the shooting death of 1-year-old Karter Martin.
Police initially released the suspect information Monday (Feb. 26) about suspect, Demond Baber. He was wanted for second-degree murder related to Martin’s death, which happened Feb. 11 in the 500 block of East Stoner Avenue.
Police have already arrested four other suspects they believe were involved: Laterrion Watts, Jaylong Young, Deanthony Griffin and Kedarrion Baker.
