4 inmates in custody after escaping from Columbia County Detention Facility

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ark. (KSLA) - Four inmates escaped from the Columbia County Detention Facility on Monday, Jan. 30, according to Columbia County Sheriff Leroy Martin.

As of 1:08 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31, all inmates were back in police custody.

Denickolas Maurice Brown, 32, was back in custody as of 11:39 a.m. Dariusz Patterson, 19, and Meadow Saulsberry, 19, were apprehended sometime later in Monroe, according to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office. Rico Jermaine Rose was the last suspect to be captured.

The sheriff’s office says the jailers are recovering from the injuries they sustained during the inmates’ escape.

Both vehicles used by the inmates have been recovered.

Inmate charges:

• Denickolas Maurice Brown: possession of drugs and firearms
• Dariusz Patterson: terroristic act
• Meadow Saulsberry: terroristic act
• Rico Jermaine Rose: capital murder, possession of firearms

Rose is accused of fatally shooting 32-year-old Demontray Hall, of Shreveport, on Nov. 12 in the 600 block of Smith Street in Magnolia, Ark.
