Wreaths Across America’s traveling exhibit stops in Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - It’s hard to miss. Parked in an LSU Shreveport lot is a massive, patriotic van that travels across the country on a meaningful mission. Wreaths Across America aims to educate the public and younger generations on the value and cost of freedom.
The exhibit’s hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 1 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 2.
The non-profit is known for placing millions of wreaths on the headstones of veterans across the country.
The Mobile Education Exhibit features a 24-person screening room that honors the sacrifices of local veterans. The truck has interactive exhibits, short films, and shares stories.
All veterans, active-duty military, their families, and the public are encouraged to visit. A visit to the mobile museum is free.
