MARION COUNTY, Texas (KSLA) - Dozens of residents across east Texas were displaced following the severe weather system that barreled through the region earlier this week on March 22. In fact, Leward LaFleur, Marion County judge, told KSLA at least 50 homes were damaged or destroyed.

The Texas Division of Emergency Management is requesting that impacted residents report damage to the state. In doing so, this could lead to disaster assistance from the federal government.

LaFleur also took to social media to share critical phone numbers residents can call, if they find themselves in need:

  • Marion County Judge: (903) 665-3261
