HARRISON COUNTY, Texas (KSLA) - Harrison County Sheriff’s Office announced that the incident on I-20 was resolved just after noon and the suspect is in custody.

According to police, a chase started in Bossier Parish sometime before 7 a.m. and ended near mile marker 627 in Harrison County.

Harrison County Sheriff B.J. Fletcher tells KSLA News 12′s sister station KLTV that the chase started early on Saturday, May 15 when Louisiana state troopers spotted a vehicle towing a stolen trailer west on I-20.

The chase ended when law enforcement officers spiked the vehicle’s tires on I-20 near Waskom. At that point, the driver, who had warrants from several states, displayed a firearm.

Both sides of I-20 were shut down, and negotiation teams were called in to try to talk to the man.

Harrison County Sheriff’s Office along with multiple other law enforcement agencies worked the incident.
