SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Two 18-wheelers, along with a third vehicle, were involved in a fiery wreck on I-20 just around 3 p.m. on Friday, May 7.

The incident occurred near the Texas state line. The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the wreck as a 3-vehicle fatal crash.

Greenwood Police Department, CPSO and Fire District 3 responded to the crash. One of the 18-wheeler drivers was pronounced dead at the scene. On Tuesday, Aug. 3, he was identified by the Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office as Jacob Sannicolas, 40, of Pensacola, Fla.

All eastbound lanes of I-20 reopened around 6 a.m. on Saturday, May 8.
