(KSLA) — Bring Back Louisiana is launching its first COVID-19 vaccination events in nine targeted ZIP codes, one in each public health region of the state.

The statewide grassroots effort that was announced in March aims to break down barriers to people getting the COVID-19 vaccines, particularly in “communities of concern.”

Following are the times and locations of the events, the first of which starts Friday, April 23 in Shreveport:
