Shreveport businesses looking forward to boom from Bayou Classic

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Many businesses in the Shreveport area are looking forward to a potential boom in business with the Bayou Classic, scheduled for Saturday, April 17.

On Friday, April 9, KSLA’s Tayler Davis spoke with the owners of Orleandeax’s Café and Eddie’s Restaurant. She also spoke with managers at the Boardwalk. They’re talking about what people can expect if they go out to watch the Bayou Classic. Many businesses have made changes to their establishments to adjust for crowds.

Despite a number of Grambling players having to quarantine due to COVID-19, officials with the school say the game is happening as scheduled.
