MORE ON BAYOU CLASSIC:

The council will enter into a “cooperative endeavor agreement” with NOCCI, Inc, an event marketing and logistics company based out of New Orleans, for the 2021 Bayou Classic game between Southern University and Grambling.

The matchup will be played at Shreveport’s Independence Stadium on Saturday, April 17.

The Bayou Classic is played annually in New Orleans each November and was moved after the SWAC Council of Presidents and Chancellors made the decision to postpone fall sports contests.
