Woman injured in early morning shooting

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A woman is recovering after being shot in Shreveport on Tuesday morning.
Police say that the shooting took place just before 4:45 a.m. in the 100 block of E. Elmwood Street. That’s near Querbes Park.
The woman was shot in the hip and driven to a Shreveport hospital by a private vehicle.
No word on arrests at this time.
