SPD holding sobriety checkpoint Friday as part of ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over’ campaign

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department is holding a sobriety checkpoint Friday, March 26 as part of the nationwide “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign.

The checkpoint will be held somewhere in west Shreveport. It will begin at 10 p.m. and run through 3 a.m.

Officers will be checking for impaired drivers and seat belt violations.

Funding for the checkpoint is provided by the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission.
