SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department is working to learn more about a hit and run incident that left one truck damaged.

Chris Permenter said he was driving his client’s white Ford dually truck while merging from La. Hwy 3132 to Interstate 49 when a silver late-model Nissan Altima or Sentra struck the pickup. He went on to say that not only did he hit him, he then pulled alongside to ram him.

The Nissan was noticeably damaged. Notably, that the passenger side mirror of the Nissan was hanging off and the passenger side headlight, fender and bumper have significant damage.

"I was trying to create distance and get us out of there before anything escalated." Watch my full interview with Chris...

He described the driver of the Nissan as aggressive.

Permenter added that his eight-year-old daughter was in the truck at the time of the incident. Luckily, no one was injured.

She had a look at the driver of the Nissan and said that he was bald and had a sleeve-type tattoo on his arm. Permenter added that he thought it looked like a tribal symbol on his tattoo sleeve as some of the artwork.

After some searching himself, Permenter says he believes he found the car in question. Photos and information have been shared with police, who are continuing their investigation.
