NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Nacogdoches librarian Morgan Briles is now a one-time champion of Jeopardy! and will return Thursday to defend her title.

Briles finished day one with $20,800. The second place competitor had $3,599 and third place had $5.

Katie Couric hosted Jeopardy! this week.
