Police trying to identify armed robbery suspect

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department is currently searching for a man accused in an armed robbery case.

Police say on Jan. 5, officers responded to reports of an armed robbery in the 6000 block of Jefferson Paige Road. Officers on scene were told a man came into the business, pulled out a gun, and demanded money. The victim reportedly gave an undisclosed amount of money to the robber.

Police describe the suspect as a Black male wearing all black clothing and a mask armed with a semi-automatic handgun. Investigators were able to review security footage at the business.
