SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Winter weather is certainly something most southerners aren’t familiar with, but despite the frigid temperatures, a group of strangers went out of their way Monday, Jan. 11 to help a woman in need.
A woman was stranded on I-20 W about a quarter of a mile past the Cotton Valley Springhill exit after her truck somehow ended up in the ditch. She was stuck for about half an hour before a group of men decided to step in and help.
Traffic was at a stand-still due to an earlier wreck, so the men hopped out of their van, got a rope, hooked it up to the woman’s truck, and pulled her to safety.
Brandon Sooter posted a video of it on Facebook, saying his “faith in humanity is restored!” and that this is “something you don’t see everyday!”
