Snow comes to an end with a stretch of dry weather ahead
Make sure to bundle up as temperatures will be super cold Tuesday morning

(KSLA) - The weather will now calm down for a few days and become very “inactive”. Dry weather returns through the rest of this week with a warming trend underway.

Overnight, it will get even colder. Temperatures will fall to the mid 20s! You will need that heavy coat for the morning as you head out the door. It will also be nice and clear with no rain around. With the snow melting throughout the day today, the roads may get wet again. That means it will refreeze tonight. Make sure to use extra caution on the roads if you will be up early. Especially on bridges and overpasses.

As the day wears on Tuesday, it will be nice and sunny with a few passing clouds. I do not expect any rain. The little bit of snow remaining should be melting as temperatures continue to warm up. Highs on Tuesday will be in the mid 50s.

Wednesday will have a few more passing clouds. Still no rain from any of these clouds, so it will be a nice day. Temperatures will warm up to the upper 50s by the afternoon.

Our next weather maker arrives Thursday as a cold front. This one will be dry with no rain associated with it. Instead it will remain mostly sunny. Temperatures should warm up to the 60s before cooling back down behind the front. I expect a very nice day.

Friday will be a little cooler, thanks to that cold front. Highs will be in the lower to mid 50s. The clouds will also get pushed away, so it will be a beautiful sunny day across the ArkLaTex.

This weekend may have a few more clouds build their way in. Saturday should remain dry, but Sunday could see a few showers move in. As of now, I have only a 30% chance of rain. Temperatures will not change much, and will warm up to the lower to mid 50s.

Have a great week!
