HARRISON COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A 40-year-old Karnack man died after his pickup left State Highway 43 near Marshall and struck several trees before it caught on fire late Saturday night.

According to a press release, Texas Department of Public Safety troopers responded to and investigated the one-vehicle crash at 11:44 p.m. on Saturday. The wreck occurred on SH 43 about three miles north of Marshall.

The preliminary crash report shows that Adrian Santee Davis was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado north on SH 43 when for an unknown reason, the vehicle left the road in a curve. After the pickup traveled down an embankment, it hit several trees and caught fire.
