SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Shreveport police are investigating a shooting that left two men dead and three injured.

The shooting happened in the 6900 block of Jewella Avenue at Jewella Plaza around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 3.

Police tell us that two groups of men began shooting at each other in the parking lot before leaving the area.

A short time later, police were called to the 2800 block of Randolph Street where one man was pronounced dead.

Another man was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Three other men have non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made.
