Dallas Cowboys go all virtual on New Years Day

(KLTV) - The Dallas Cowboys went all virtual with team meetings and held no practices on Friday while the organization goes through COVID-19 contact tracing.

The Cowboys announced that they were placing defensive tackle Justin Hamilton and safety Darian Thompson on the COVID-19 reserve list. The two bring Dallas’ total number of players since the season started to six that have gone on the list.

Head Coach Mike McCarthy talked to the media through a video call Friday morning.

“All the virtual meetings are occurring with the coaches and players, and we’ll back to, I guess, what you would call a standard Saturday schedule in the morning,” McCarthy said. said.
