Victims identified in small plane crash; investigation ongoing

BOSSIER PARISH, La. (KSLA) - Authorities have released the names of the two teenagers killed in a small plane crash Wednesday, Dec. 16.

Jet Montgomery, 18, and Jon Cole Harris, 19, were pronounced dead at the scene. Both were graduates of Airline High in Bossier City.

Louisiana Tech University released the following statement Thursday, Dec. 17:

“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of these two young people. We’re working to provide support to members of the Tech Family who are close to them, and we’ll continue to check in and offer support for our students through this difficult time.”
