Sabine to close 3 schools dues to COVID

SABINE PARISH, La. (KSLA) - According to the Sabine Parish School Board Facebook page, three schools in the parish will be closed from Oct. 29 to Nov. 4 due to increasing numbers of students and teachers testing positive for coronavirus.

The parish will be closing Florien High School, Zwolle Elementary School and Zwolle High School starting tomorrow.

All schools in the parish will be closed Nov. 3 for Election Day and will return Nov. 4.

The school advises that if your child is on quarantine, they must stay home for the 14 day period. If they have tested positive, they must stay home for at least 10 days.

The days the schools are closed will count as Virtual Instruction and assignments will be sent home via Google Classroom.
