BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - LSU will travel to College Station, Texas, on Nov. 28 for a 6 p.m. kickoff on ESPN but the SEC has not yet announced the kickoff times and TV networks for games scheduled on Dec. 5, as those matchups will be made on a six-day selection process.

Sept. 26, 2:30 p.m. CT - MISSISSIPPI STATE - TV: CBS

Oct. 3, 6:30 p.m. CT - at Vanderbilt - TV: SEC Network

Oct. 10, 8 p.m. CT - MISSOURI - TV: ESPN

Oct. 17, 3 p.m. CT - at Florida - TV: ESPN (Postponed to Dec. 12)

Oct. 24, 6 p.m. CT - SOUTH CAROLINA - TV: ESPN

Oct. 31, 2:30 p.m. CT - at Auburn - TV: CBS

Nov. 7 - BYE

Nov. 14, 5 p.m. CT - ALABAMA - TV: CBS (Postponed)

Nov. 21, 11 a.m. CT - at Arkansas - TV: SEC Network

Nov. 28, 6 p.m. CT - at Texas A&M - TV: ESPN

Dec. 5, Time TBD - OLE MISS

Dec. 12 - Time TBS - at Florida (rescheduled due to Oct. 17 postponement)

Kickoff time and television plans for the games will be announced at a later date.

Verge Ausberry, the LSU exec. deputy AD / exec. dir. of external relations, said the Tigers wanted a season-opening opponent they had played last year and were familiar with but he added the Mike Leach factor is a big new wrinkle for Mississippi State.

The SEC will play a 10-game, conference-only schedule. The revised schedule will include one mid-season open date for each school and an open date on December 12 for all schools.

The SEC Championship is scheduled to be played on December 19 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. It was originally scheduled for December 5.
