SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) — Shreveport Police Chief Ben Raymond is holding a news conference that began at 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17.

He is discussing homicides and the implications of an operation that the Police Department’s street-level interdiction unit conducted over the weekend that targeted cruising and illegal weapons.

The news conference is being held in the assembly room on the second floor of the Shreveport police complex.
