MANY, La. (KSLA) — Classes will start a few days later for Sabine Parish School District students.

School Board members, meeting in special session during today’s lunch hour, decided to postpone the beginning of the 2020-21 academic year.

Board members unanimously voted for students to report Aug. 20.

Teachers’ first day will be Aug. 10.

Similar actions recently have been taken by school boards in other ArkLaTex school districts.
