Overnight shooting; one man dead

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Shreveport police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead overnight.
Just after 1:20 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, a man forced his way into a home in the 3200 block of Boss Avenue.
According to police, the intruder grabbed the homeowner and threw her on the bed. That is when the homeowner grabbed a handgun and shot the intruder in the head.
No charges have been filed.
