Happy Tuesday. Today we felt one of the coldest mornings of this work week with temperatures in the 30s. The overall quiet stretch of weather continues today and through most of Thursday. It’s not until Thursday evening that rain moves into the ArkLaTex.
By the lunch hour, temperatures will have warmed into the upper 50s near 60 degrees. Our highs for today will reach the low 60s under mostly clear skies. Winds will stay calm this morning and then pick up 5-10mph by the afternoon. Otherwise, a great day for outdoor activities. Overnight tonight won't be as cold, but temperatures will dip into the upper 30s and low 40s.
By the middle of the work week, mostly sunny skies and slightly above average temperatures are expected. We'll see highs in the mid 60s and mostly sunny skies during the day, but by the evening, clouds will increase and become mostly cloudy.
Thursday is off to a mostly cloudy start with temperatures that morning in the mid to upper 40s. If you have any plans in the afternoon or early evening, those plans are likely good to go. Rain moves in with this next upper level disturbance by late evening with chances around 30%. There could be a few thunderstorms, but nothing in the way of severe weather. We’ll dry out and shine out just in time for the weekend.
Have a terrific Tuesday!
