Shreveport City Council to consider alcohol initiatives

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Shreveport City Council will take up an issue regarding an alcohol issue on Oct. 22.

According to the agenda, Councilman John Nickelson introduced a resolution to expand the hours when liquor stores must be closed. According to the fact sheet, liquor stores must close between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m.

The new ordinances would expand those hours from 9 p.m. until 8 a.m.

City council will meet at 3 p.m.
