Man wounded in shooting; witnesses, suspects sought

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Shreveport police are looking for a group of people that fled from the scene of a shooting early Thursday morning.

Officers got the call just before 3:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Herndon Street.

Upon arrival officers found a man with gunshot wounds to his hand and buttocks.

His wounds are not considered life threatening. He was sent to a Shreveport hospital for treatment.

Police say that a group of people nearby during the shooting ran off.
