Victim named in downtown Shreveport shooting

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Caddo Parish Coroner has released the name of a man killed in a shooting late Sunday evening.

Leejerryius Traveone Baines, 29, of Shreveport was shot once in the head just before 10:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Texas Street outside the Royalty Cigar Bar.

Baines died just before 11 p.m. at a Shreveport hospital, according to the coroner’s office.

An autopsy will be performed at a later time.
