La. state lawmakers reject fantasy sports betting

(KSLA) - The Louisiana legislative session comes to close with lawmakers agreeing on a state budget.
That takes a costly special session off the state.
However, it left several bills on the table — like fantasy sports betting.
The bill died after a filibuster.
The bills sponsor says voters in parishes that legalized the fantasy sports betting will not be able to place bets this fall.
