HOUMA, La. (WAFB) - The excitement for the 2019 LSU football season will continue to build as the summer months approach.

Everyone knows the Tigers have a good player returning at quarterback in Joe Burrow. However, during his Tiger Tour stop Monday night in Houma, head coach Ed Orgeron also had strong praise for sophomore Myles Brennan.

“Myles really turned it on in the fourth quarter program,” said Orgeron. “He got up to 210 pounds. He became a leader. He was breaking down the team. You can see the excitement in Myles. He knows he’s going to play. He’s healthy. He’s following Joe, Joe’s showing him a lot of stuff. Myles probably has a better arm than Joe, better release. We’ll see what happens.”

The 6-foot-5 Long Beach, Miss., native is 18-for-30 as a Tiger. He has thrown one touchdown and two interceptions.
