Continue to take it slow on the roadways this morning, you will run into moderate to heavy rainfall. Temperatures will continue to cool throughout the day. For the most part, we will be in the mid to upper 60s, then cooling into the mid 50s by this evening.
A Flash Flood Watch continues for portions of NW Louisiana continues until 7pm tonight. Heavy rainfall could cause low-lying areas to flood as well as podning on the roadways. Flooding could occur quickly, remember next drive through flooded roadways.
Expect moderate to heavy rainfall to persist throughout the day with a chance of seeing a strong storm or two this afternoon as another complex will push through the area.
Once we get to Friday, we will have a brief break in the temperatures with highs in the upper 60s. You will want the jacket Friday evening and temperatures will be falling into the 40s and 50s. Easter weekend is looking great for any outdoor plans! Temperatures will be in the upper 70s, low 80s across the area with lots of sunshine all weekend long.
Looking ahead to next week, Monday will be partly cloudy with a small chance of a shower. Highs will be in the upper 70s. Chances of rain slowly increase on Tuesday, otherwise cloudy. Highs in the upper 70s. Rain looks more likely by the middle of next week.
