Arrests made in death of Shreveport Police Officer Chatéri Payne
3 people to be charged with second-degree murder.

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department has arrested three people in connection to the shooting death of Officer Chatéri Payne.
Police Chief Ben Raymond says Glenn Frierson, 38, Trevon Anderson, 26, and Lawrence Pierre, 22, will be charged with second-degree murder
The Shreveport Police Department has scheduled a news conference for 10:00 a.m. Jan.16, to discuss details on the arrests.

Officer Payne was shot and killed last week in Shreveport while preparing to go to work. Chief Raymond says Officer Payne was wearing her uniform at the time of the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing.
