Body found in partially submerged pickup truck; police investigating

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport police have confirmed that a body was found inside an overturned pickup truck in south Shreveport.
Crews were called just after 4 p.m. to the 600 block of Mt. Zion Road.
According to Shreveport Police Officer Christina Curtis, the vehicle was a white 2011 Chevrolet Silverado truck and was partially submerged in water.
The truck is owned by 31-year-old Cederick Robinson’s, according to his family members. His sister says that police have confirmed that it is his truck, but have not confirmed his identity.
A tow truck has pulled the truck out of the bayou.
Coroner is on scene.
