Shreveport’s Chief Administrative Officer steps down

Crawford leaves Tyler administration

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Brian Crawford has resigned from his position as Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Shreveport. This announcement comes from the Mayor’s office just two days after Adrian Perkins won the run off election for mayor.

Crawford’s resignation letter is dated November 21 and addressed to current Mayor Ollie Tyler. He thanked her for the experience while highlighting all of the work and positive changes he says he’s seen during her term.

“I will always look back on this time with great affection and satisfaction at what our team, through your leadership, was able to accomplish in charting a better and more sustainable course and direction for our citizens,” Crawford states.

Mayor-elect Adrian Perkins said today he hasn’t decided who his CAO will be.

Perkins will be sworn into office December 29.
