SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport police released new information about a Thursday night shooting that injured a child, possibly as young as five-years-old.
According to SPD’s Public Information Officer Christina Curtis, a man and woman were trying to meet a person to purchase a puppy; however, they were ambushed when they tried to meet the seller.
Officers received the call just after 6 p.m. to the 4600 block of Lyba Street, near the Westwood Park area.
The child’s injuries are considered non-life threatening. The man and woman’s injuries are also considered non-life-threatening. Both the man and woman were shot multiple times.
No arrests have been made.
