1 killed in fatal house fire, cause under investigation

TEXARKANA, AR (KSLA) - A man is dead following a fatal house fire on Tuesday morning.
It happened in the 3300 block of Preston Street in Texarkana, Arkansas.
Crews got the call before 3 a.m.
Upon arrival, crews found the home completely engulfed in flames.

Firefighters say they believed that someone was in the home, but were not able to get in due to the intensity of the fire.
After the fire was under control, the body of a man was found in the front bedroom.
Firefighters say that the cause of the fire is unknown and is under investigation.
