Man charged in connection to Sabine Parish shooting

SABINE PARISH, LA (KSLA) - A man is facing a murder charge after investigators connected him to the shooting death of a father of three.
Darrell A. Williams Jr., 23, formerly of Many was arrested in Waveland, Mississippi on a warrant from Sabine Parish for second-degree murder. Williams is accused in the shooting death of 23-year-old Lynnquithis “Lynn” L. January, according to a news release from the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office.
January died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds he received why sitting in the breezeway of building D at the Apollo Apartments on June 18.
The Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation by Hancock County Sheriff’s Office in Mississippi, Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office, New Orleans Police Department, Louisiana State Police, and the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office.
