SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Authorities have released the name of the Shreveport man who was fatally shot during a burglary Sunday afternoon.
The Caddo coroner’s office says he is 40-year-old Isaac Dewayne Solomon, who was shot in a residence in the city’s Sunset Acres neighborhood.
And police say no charge has been filed against the Shreveport man who shot Solomon.
The shooting occurred when the homeowner returned home about 3:11 p.m. to find two masked intruders in his residence in the 3000 block of Marquette Street.
The other suspect, 47-year-old Martin P. Davenport, fled through a window but was captured a short distance from the home.
He has been charged with one count of aggravated burglary.
Davenport, of the 1700 block of Clanton Street in Shreveport, was booked into Shreveport City Jail at 6:40 p.m. Sunday, booking records show.
