BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - Two Bossier City teenagers now stand accused of taking the life of a Barksdale Air Force Base airman.

Bossier City police detectives have arrested 17-year-old Jareona Nicole Crosby, of the 2200 block of North Riverwood Loop, and a 15-year-old male.

Each is charged with one count of second-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Tech. Sgt. Joshua Kidd, 30, of Bossier City.

Each one also faces 10 counts of simple burglary of a vehicle and one count of theft of a firearm, authorities said.

Kidd died of a gunshot wound to his chest.

He was found early the morning of Sept. 25 outside his residence on Parklane Drive in Bossier City.

“Over the course of the last week, detectives developed information and collected evidence linking Crosby and the juvenile to the murder,” says a statement from Bossier City police.

Both teenagers were booked into the Bossier City Jail then taken to Ware Youth Center at Coushatta.
