SABINE PARISH, LA (KSLA) - A woman whose throat was cut has been rushed to a hospital for treatment.
And the man suspected of attacking her now is in custody after a search in Sabine Parish.
Both are the result of some type of altercation Tuesday in the village of Pleasant Hill, said Joe Dewil, spokesman for the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities have yet to release the names of the man and woman.
The woman’s condition also is not immediately known.
After being apprehended, the man also was taken to a hospital for unspecified reasons, Dewil said.
The Sheriff’s Office is assisting Pleasant Hill police in investigating the assault.
