A chilly night expected across the ArkLaTex. Lows tonight will tumble into the low 40s in Shreveport, so it will be cold out the door Monday morning. Grab the jacket before you leave. Some areas may only get into the upper 30s. Areas in southeastern Oklahoma and southwestern Arkansas have the chance of seeing light, patchy frost. If you have any sensitive plants, bring them indoors or cover them with a sheet.

Looking towards tomorrow, dry conditions stay in play with partly cloudy conditions. Temperatures will be cold to start and will eventually rise into the mid to upper 60s in the afternoon hours. Lows tomorrow night will be into the mid to upper 40s.

Perfect Fall weather conditions continue throughout the beginning of the week. Upper 60s for Tuesday with a mix of sun and clouds.

Our next rain maker looks to move into the forecast Wednesday afternoon and into the evening hours. A cold front will drop into our viewing area, this will prompt widespread showers across the area. Temperatures will be in the low 60s, so we aren’t expecting widespread thunderstorm activity. Showers look even more likely overnight Wednesday and into Thursday. This means there could be some lingering showers Thursday morning and the early afternoon hours, otherwise cloudy conditions will be in the forecast the rest of the day. Highs on Thursday in the low 60s. We will continue to keep you updated on timing throughout the week.

After that frontal system moves through, dry conditions will come back into the forecast. Highs in the upper 60s for Friday with a mix of sun and clouds. 70s look to make a return Saturday and Sunday with lots of sunshine.
