WEB EXTRA: Kegel exercise isn’t always the answer when it comes to pelvic floor health

Melanie Massey explains why the Kegel exercise isn’t always the answer when it comes to pelvic floor health. Massey’s team says a healthy pelvic floor means you’re emptying your bladder 8-10 times a day and no more than once during the night. How do you know your bladder is empty? They suggest counting “1 Mississippi” once your stream starts. It should last until “7-9 Mississippi.”
