SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -   Sometime overnight burglars hit the Family Dollar in the 2700 block of Lakeshore Drive, not long after that, they hit another on Linwood."They got in the same way, and did the same thing once they got in," says Kevin Goodwin with the Shreveport Police Department.
The doors appear to have been pried open with a tool. And once inside, the thieves went to work. "The alarm system was cut and made entry though the business, merchandise cash was taken from the business," says Goodwin.
Detectives believe both burglaries are related, and feature the same crew. Although, they don't know exactly how many, they know the guys do have a sophisticated plan. Police also believe they have a rash of burglaries on their hands. M
Marshall Police tell SPD they've not had any similar burglaries, and neither has Longview. But police warn, if you see something suspicious, don't approach anyone, call police at 318-673-7300.
