Teen to face trial as an adult for his alleged role in pawn shop killing

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - A Shreveport teen will face an adult charge of murder in the death of a pawn shop employee.

A Caddo Parish Grand Jury indicted 15-year-old Tiray Edwards for first degree murder for his part in the shooting death of Matthew Robert during an attempted robbery at Max's Pawn Shop on Shreveport's Linwood Ave.

Twenty-one- year-old Tarsa Ray Cooley and 30-year-old Jarred Hullaby were arrested for their part in the crime last month. Their case will be heard during the next grand jury session next month.
