SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Two shootings happened within five minutes of each other on the same street just before 1 am Monday morning.

The first was at 12:45 am near Hollywood and St. Vincent Avenues. Police say three men were shot.  One man was grazed by a bullet, the second victim was shot in the arm and the third had life-threatening injuries. Two of the victims were taken to LSU Hospital.

The second shooting was also on St. Vincent Avenue at Greenbrook St., when just before 1 am, two women were shot in the legs. Police say an infant in a nearby car was cut from when a bullet shattered one of the windows. There's no word on the victim's conditions.

Police say even though the shootings happened near each other within 15 minutes of each other, they have no reason to believe the incidents are related.

There is no description of the suspects, but police believe the suspect vehicle in the second shooting was a brown Toyota Camry.
